Blown Expectations

I AM IN SIENA!!! and already falling in love with this place. With each morning I wake up even more comfortable and content! Is this REAL LIFE?!!

 Here are the highlights of my week:

First Day of School! Cougars Represent!!!

First Laundromat Experience (I feel like an official college student now!)

Nights we usually spend walking the streets or sitting in the Piazzo del Campo with the locals (Exhibit A)

Exhibit A...yes we sit and lay right on the sloping brick..its fabulous

Italian Music Festival in the Park

Saturday I spent walking throughout more of the city to get more of a feel for it and sense of direction. This city really is so amazing. Every new street you walk down there is another incredible view. Tuscany is GORGEOUS!

I've decided that everything you've ever heard, seen in movies or pictures, or read in books about Tuscany being so beautiful and romantic and blah blah blah is ABSOLUTELY true, plus some. My expectations were completely blown out of the water and each day it proves true again and again. I love this place :)
